Behind the Practice

About The Posture Clinic

The Posture Clinic was created to change the way people think about posture, pain, and performance. Instead of chasing symptoms, we focus on understanding how the body moves, adapts, and responds to daily demands—at work, at home, and in sport.

Our System

Our work is guided by a proven system designed to address the root causes of pain, dysfunction, and movement limitations:

Ergonomics

Optimizing how you work and move throughout the day to reduce strain, fatigue, and repetitive stress.

Mobility & Postural Therapy

Restoring joint motion, alignment, and control so your body can move efficiently and without compensation.

Strength Training

Building resilience through targeted strength so improvements last—not just for weeks, but long term.

Our Philosophy

We believe posture isn’t something you “fix” once—it’s something you train over time. Movement quality, joint health, and strength all play a role in how the body performs and stays resilient.

aBOUT Me

I’ve dealt with chronic pain since I was 13. Pulled groins, a locking jaw, constant aches—sound familiar?

Growing up in competitive hockey, I learned to play through pain, afraid of being labeled “soft.” As I got older and started weightlifting, things only got worse. I was diagnosed with TMJ, but never understood why my groin, hips, neck, and even breathing were always off. By the time I moved east to play college hockey, my body was in constant pain.

During a pregame warmup, my shoulder partially dislocated. I ignored it, kept playing, and didn’t tell anyone. That mistake became a turning point. The pain eventually disrupted my sleep, caused numbness in my arm, and piled on top of my ongoing hip issues.

I saw multiple doctors and therapists, all telling me nothing was wrong—or that I’d have to live with it. At 20, I refused to accept that. I tried yoga, massage, chiropractic care, and daily stretching. Each helped temporarily, but nothing fixed the root cause.

The breakthrough came when I realized I wasn’t just tight—I was imbalanced. By correcting my posture and strengthening what was weak, I finally escaped daily pain. Now I share what I learned so you don’t have to spend years suffering like I did.
